Port of
Le Conquet
A picturesque port in the heart of town
Located at the very tip of Finistère, Le Conquet marina has 350 berths with 7 visitor moorings in the dredged area (+1m sounding) and 4 visitor moorings in the undredged area (+3.4m sounding). The port is located within the Iroise Marine Nature Park at the heart of picturesque Le Conquet, a Petit Cité de Caractère famous for its fishing port. Tourists and visitors flock to the quay when the daily catch of fish and crustaceans is unloaded.
Dry harbour
Le Conquet marina is a dry harbour, which means that it empties of water at low tide. This limits the type of boats able to moor here: visiting vessels are mostly semi-rigid boats, small motorboats, and centreboard or twin keel sailboats.
The port has two deep-water buoys that can be used by boats with a draught.
A starting point for a visit to the Isles of Ponant
The port of Le Conquet connects the islands of Molène and Ouessant to the continent by its ferry port, which provides an easy way to reach this archipelago. The port is located in a 1km-long aber (estuary), which opens WSW onto the sea between the Point of Sainte Barbe and the Kermorvan Presqu’île and is therefore exposed to the swell.
Local businesses
The port is located at the heart of Le Conquet, less than ten minutes from all the local shops.
The Coopérative Maritime is located at the entrance to the port.
